The amalgamation of Sapphire Water Dragona and Zen Dragon Boat Club took place on 2 December 2015 resulting in the formation of MERIMBULA WATER DRAGONS.
Paddling sessions are conducted at Top Lake, Merimbula and cater for both serious and social paddlers.
This exciting sport has become popular in the local area and over the years both clubs have competed at a number of regattas in regional NSW, ACT and other Capital cities. In 2015 five members from across both clubs qualified to compete at the World Dragon Boat Championships in Welland, Canada.
New paddlers are always welcome, we welcome everyone from 12 years of age onwards and of any fitness level.
